Hi Jason, To make such workaround solution, I suggest to do it in Android Frameworks, instead of kernel driver. The key repeat event is not generated by kernel driver, and kernel driver sends exact the same key events as it receives. TVStorm made a keyevent handler in Android Frameworks, so I think it is more appropriate to ask TVStorm for this request. Thanks ! |

Hi kerwin TVStorm can't touch it any more. so SPtek also deal with a keyenvent in android Framework for BTF project ? although the manufacture company worked with SPtek, a manufacture company is modified it. so I suggest it also modify it by you in BFF Project. I will ask a history to SPtek in other manufacture project history. Thanks. |

hi kerwin I checked it with SPtek. this workaround solution is only need BT Case. so if made in android Framework, it isn't a good solution. so please case BT only add an workaround solution in driver site. Thanks. |

hi kerwin as I talked to you, we still happen same issue in v15.520.8. additionally, skb manager ask a technical note about this issue. please leave here. did you verify in your side as below before ? --> when I remove the battery with pushing keep a channel up key on BLE Connection, it is channel up continue during a several seconds between disconnecting, the channel behaves as if it were pressed. Add a technical note: We implement a timeout mechanism in input kernel driver. A KEY_UP event will be sent if kernel driver doesn't receive UP key event within an interval. |

Hi Jason, Per explained, there is a timer in kernel driver to send "key up" event. Until system receives the key-up event, you will see channel changing.. Thanks ! |

hi kerwin as like comment 4157,, it is applied in UHD4 ? since skb manager commented to us when push long press key( ch+,- , volume+,- ) , the response is too long compare with other box. especially, smart3(BTF) take a long time more then UHD4. so I wonder it is related to this workaround solution. |

Hi Jason, I attach part of repeat key handler in Framework. The timeout value of repeat key in Framework is provided by TVStorm. Now, Smart3 BTF also applies the same patch so the behavior is the same between Smart3 and UHD4.
